This typically Hanseatic yet cosmopolitan hotel boasts a prime location on Fleet Island, close to the river Alster, the harbour and the city’s most attractive shopping areas. Our central location allows you to explore Hamburg’s main sights on foot.

Behind our elegant red-brick façade, our generous guest rooms (upwards of 39m² in size) offer luxury and relaxation. Rooms look out to either the city or the canal.

A highlight of the hotel is our exclusive ‘DaySpa’. This lightflooded wellness area is 650m² in size and overlooks the rooftops of the city.

Food & beverage

For breakfast, we offer a rich buffet, a continental breakfast or a croissant breakfast. Enjoy your first meal of the day while savouring a wonderful view of the passing barges along the Alster canal.

In our gourmet restaurant "Calla" you can enjoy Eurasian cuisine in a Far Eastern ambience. Gaze at the romantic Alster waterways as you sample exquisite combinations of European recipes and Asian aromas and cooking methods.

The large window fronts, the lightflooded conservatory and the sunny terrace overlooking the canal provide a tasteful and meditative ambience. The integrated show kitchen offers delicious regional dishes with Mediterranean undertones.

Our classical piano bar is located in the centre of the lobby, and is the ideal place for "people watching" or meeting business partners or friends. The bar serves international drinks while live music is played on an impressive black piano.

The hotel was situated at a good location. I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and would rate it more than good. I got an upgrade which gave me a fantastic suite with several rooms.

The spa and the food

the noice coming from outside, traffic, was not nice to have your window open during the night and the rooms were quite warm
