The only design hotel in Hamburg, the 5-star SIDE is situated within walking distance of the Inner Alster river, Gänsemarkt market, the main shopping streets and opera house.

Here you will find exclusive and extensive spa facilities with a heated pool and luxury design. Be sure to visit the Sky Lounge, the restaurant and bar Fusion with live DJs or the Sushi Bar. From 06:00 until 08:00, you can have an early-bird breakfast and free takeaway coffee in the lobby.

A futuristic façade of glass and natural stone, designed by the architect Jan Störmer, bedecks the 12 floors of the building. From the top 3 floors you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city. The atrium lobby reaches up to the 8th floor, and features impressive light installations.

Enjoy free wireless internet access for one hour per day.

The most important art and cultural sites of this Hanseatic city can all be found very nearby. The exhibition centre and the Hamburg congress centre (CCH) are also quick to reach.

Our spa oasis SIDE SPA is refreshingly colourful in design and luxuriously furnished.

The colour yellow stands for comfort, which is why the treatment rooms are decorated in yellow. Our treatment programme inlcudes various firming body treatments, Thai massages, facials, exfoliation treatments and lymphatic drainage.

Green brings refreshment, which is why the spacious shower area is decorated in green as well as our modern solarium.

Orange energises, so why not pump up your energy in our gym, decorated in orange and kitted out with a wide range of equipment. As well as cardio and Power Plate machines, we offer entertainment while you workout with TV and music.

The colour blue invites you to bath. Stroll through our water world and discover the jacuzzi, the aroma steam bath and the Finnish sauna.

Experience exceptional culinary highlights in the Fusion Bar and Restaurant.

Chef Olaf Niemeier and his team create innovative dishes by combining cuisine ideas from different countries and cultures. Fresh produce, exotic ingredients and original techniques promise top-quality dining experiences.

The Fusion bar regularly hosts live DJ sets. From Tuesdays to Saturdays, you can savour exquisite sushi creations.

The staff were very attentive. Room was really nice. Very cool hotel

There was still rubbish in the bin when we got into our room we could have mentioned this when they call to see if everything was ok with our suite but we didn't. Wasn't a big deal really.

The heating system in the hotel was regulated at 22 degrees celcius, and I was not able to adjust the temperature. The room was constantly cold with virtually no alternatives available.

Its close proximity to the shopping area

Too quiet. The fancy lounge shown on the website is actually upstairs where no one was ever seen chilling due to its location.

Nice rooms and sky-bar.

Breakfast, with staff not understanding english when asking for our order. Very modern hotell from 2001 , with no carisma.
