In the 490 square metre Seagul Spa, guests will find an indoor pool, a sauna with a ice-fountain, solarium, steam bath, Kneipp cure pool, plunge pool and gym with modern cardio machines. Massages and various treatments are also available.

Food & beverage

The Seagull breakfast restaurant is open Mondays to Fridays from 06:00 until 10:30 and on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays from 07:00 until 12:00.

The fine dining restaurant, Le Bistro, creates à la carte delicacies that combine classic French 'savoir vivre' with Hanseatic elegance. It is open Mondays to Fridays from 11:00 until 23:00 and
Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00.

The Seven Heads bar serves refined cocktails and fine drinks from 09:00 until 02:00. Enjoy the evening sun on the terrace alongside the Alster canal.

Room information

Enjoy the luxury of these modern rooms, which have views over the canals, large double beds, marble bathrooms with bathtubs and special touches such as dressing gowns and free mineral water.

Area information

The excellent location of this hotel means that guests can really explore almost all of Hamburg on foot. On the next parallel street lies the stylish shopping boulevard Neuer Wall, with its luxury boutiques.

The Rathaus (town hall) is just around the corner and the beautiful Alster lake is at the end of the road.

The harbour and historic Speicherstadt warehouse district can be reached within 10 minutes.

Alternatively, make the most of the excellent public transport connections. Right outside the hotel is a sightseeing-bus stop. The Stadthausbrücke S-Bahn (city rail) station and the Rödingsmarkt U-Bahn (underground) station are literally around the corner and take you to all parts of the city, as far as the picturesque suburb of Blankenese, or into the bustling life of the popular Schanzen Viertel quarter, or the famous St Pauli district.

Please note that the entire hotel spa area is closed between 05 through 07 January 2009, due to maintenance work.

it was easy dealing with the staff they were so friendly , the area was very calm

the food , the room service and the resuturant it self not much of choice and the quality of food not that good compare to the pricese which were high . one more thing i dont rate this hotel as 5 start to be honest with u its may be 4 , its too dull , lighting wise and decoration wise , too plane , i think they have to cheange the decoration to give the hotel some life.other wise all was just fine

The central placement of the hotel in Hamburg

The beds are bad and need to be replaced. The breakfast at the same price as a good steak in other restaurants is far too much! Even though it was good and plentiful

The original contemporary style, the superb quality and presentation food, helpful and happy staff, excellent location in the city.

On one day the room service number was not answered despite many tries over a period of an hour. However, when my food was eventually delivered it was excellent quality and presentation.

Hotel itself we have no problem with high quality, but hotel automatically charged 1st night 3days before arrival to my card. But stayed person is my friend and this is big trouble caused. This kind of information have to be clearly mentioned in advance. I will never use this hotel for the future since this is big trouble for us to exchange money later with them.

For us almost too modern: We did not get two beds or at least a bed with two covers and two matelases and theirfore my friend sleept on one of the sofas.
